Animoto

This program is a tool/resource that can be used to create presentations in a slideshow format, but is presented in a way sort of like a video, as there are smooth transitions. There are different designs that you can choose from that help with the visual presentation of the product, however there seemed to be quite a few limitations.  One of the limitations include a maximum amount of characters used when inserting text.  Also, the text cannot be over top images, it must be inserted as a separate slide. It makes it difficult to share information within the presentation, thus I feel that Animoto is a more beneficial tool to use when sharing or using images.
Furthermore, because of this word limit, I wasn't able to cite the information or images on the last slide within my presentation as is required, but take a look at what I have put together below:

In creating this presentation, I have found that there is quite a bit that goes into copyright and the process can be a lot more than people expect.  Especially when citing, I feel that most people are unaware of the proper way to reference different images they use.  Flickr, however does make it a bit easier, as it provides the information necessary.  It is a great website that gives free access to images.
Copyright laws can get confusing in some cases, but the main idea is that they are created so that individuals' original work is protected when they share and publish it.  Whether it be written work, videos or images, individuals are given the right to have a say in how it is used or if it can be used at all.  It is important that anything being used or referred to that is not of your own original work, is referenced and given credit to.

Due to the character limit for the text in Animoto, I was unable to cite the images used,  The references for the images in my Animoto are listed below:
